Sirkeci Group hotels and restaurants are located in the historical peninsula, right in the heart of Istanbul's historical life. This area stood eyewitness to Istanbul's history for many centuries. Sirkeci Group hotels and restaurants are located on the historical peninsula, between Gulhane Park, which had been garden of the Topkapi Palace and was later restored and converted into a beautiful park, and the Sirkeci Railway Station, located about 200 meter from the shore, where the famous Orient Express arrives. It is minutes away on foot from the Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, known as the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, Hippodrome and other countless historical artifacts and museum that are in the vicinity. With the recent improvements the area now embraced many facilities that make the daily life easier.
Transportation
Street railways which pass through the tourism and commercial area, where the Group is located, and heads to all directions have been constructed in the last 10 years. You can leave your hotel and reach to a tramstop on foot within 1 minute, and conveniently take a tramway to any destination you desire. Also, since Sirkeci preserves its quality of being an important port throughout the history, you can reach to the quays within 5 minutes on foot, located in the area called Eminonu in the vicinity of the area. Then you can take a ferryboat or sea bus to any location which is by the sea in Istanbul. However, while you tour the historical area you will not need any of that because all important points of excursions are just within walking distance to your hotel.
Shopping
Thanks again to the developments put into place in the recent years and elimination of the transportation problem, significant level of investments were made in the area. Famous shopping, food & drink sector brands have been coming to the area.
